What problem does this feature solve?
In the chart for circle and line there is no line style applied , we are expected some options in graphics which provides line styles like dotted ..etc
What does the proposed API look like?

You can try to use
lineDashandlineDashOffsetto do this. It seems these two options are missing in the documentation.
