I have been stuck in a strange situation from past two days. I have a drupal installation in my /var/www/html document root directory with a name of drupal and I am accessing it with the url 'http://domainname/drupal'. It is opening fine. In settings.php of drupal/sites/default directory I have set $base_url as http://domainname/drupal . In the same directory /var/www/html I have created the copy of drupal with a name of drupalsix . I exported the database of the project drupal & created a new database and associated drupalsix with it. I changed the required $db_url settings in settings.php of drupalsix/sites/default/settings.php file. I also changed the $base_url variable to http://domainname/drupalsix . when I try to open the url http://domainname/drupalsix it is not opening & a message Not Found The requested url was not found on this server is getting displayed. I have copied the .htaccess file from drupal to drupalsix directory correctly & the clean url is also disabled. In my httpd.conf file I have AllowOverride All for both drupal & drupal six as shown below:-
